Saying Goodbye to Summer with a Two-Piece Set!

With temperature still around 90 degrees in Philly, it's so hard to think that summer is coming to an end! Looking back, I would say my summer has been pretty busy and eventful. Rarely was I in town for the weekends! I was either traveling to SF or Seattle for mini vacations, or driving to NYC/NJ to visit my sister or attend weddings. And just this past weekend I was visiting D.C.! I feel like my life has been all over the place...literally! You would know what I mean if you see the current state of my messy apartment haha. Although traveling for the weekends could be so tiresome (packing, travel, unpacking, repeat), I have no regrets and so glad I get to make the most out of 2018 summer. 

This past weekend while I was in D.C., I decided to rock this two-piece set! I am obsessed with the big polka dots print. It's fun, retro, and omg so damn cute! The skirt is definitely the star of the show; I love the circle buckle belt that you can use to adjust the tightness of the skirt. The long slit also helps elongate the body and makes this skirt more flowy and whimsical. Honestly what I really love about sets is that you can wear them separately as well! I could already think of multiple outfits I can pull off with this! 

For accessories, I am wearing this Studded Pointed Slingbacks from my new favorite brand Charles & Keith! Honestly, they have the most comfortable and coolest heels! I just want to get all of them as I was checking them out hahaha. And what's even better? All their shoes are very affordable! This pair only cost me $49. 

The funniest about this outfit though, was that I actually went to a spa and later thrift shopping at Goodwill looking like this. So many people asked me where I got the set and some people at Goodwill even offered to purchase this set (yes as I was wearing it!) from me LOL!! When you know Goodwill shoppers want to buy it, you know it's a GREAT OUTFIT!
