A Weekend Getaway
Few weekends ago, Jeremy (my bae ๐งก) and I decided to get out of the noisy city and to spend our weekend in a charming small town that's about two hours away from where we live in Philadelphia. We were hoping to just enjoy some peace and quiet and relax a little from our busy schedules. Little did we know that this town is actually super lively ๐ and is very well known for antiques! It turned out, of course, that we were running around shopping for antiques - not relaxing at all (But so much fun! At least for me XD)
This was the outfit I was wearing wandering all over the town antiquing! I love this off-shoulder dress from Privacy Please (now on sale)! The pastel plaid print, full-button front detail, the ruffle sleeves - everything about this dress screams spring & summer to me. And what's even better? I actually got this on sale at Nordstrom Rack for only $4! Unfortunately I got it in-store with that price, but I honestly think it's due to their system failure that day lol. But the dresses are still on sale online!! If not, try your luck at your local Nordstrom Racks!
Since I was walking the whole day, I wanted to wear comfortable walking shoes such as these from Keds (Also available at Nordstrom Rack, now you know where I do all my shopping haha). I thought these tropical fern prints are so adorable! These shoes also have little platforms added so it's perfect for petite girls. Ya know, adding some heights never hurt nobody!
I gotta admit I did choose a wrong tote to bring while antiquing >< But this netted tote bag from Urban Outfitters is surprisingly sturdy and instantly became one of my favorite bags to bring when running errands or grocery shop at a farmer's market! I brought this tote bag with me carrying my phone, wallet, water, and keys and NOTHING FELL THROUGH #winning!
Overall, Jeremy and I had such a great time exploring this cute little town! It's so much fun to just go travel and go to different places, even when it's just two hours away :D
