Ahh it’s that awkward time of the year again…the change of seasons! From winter to spring is always the time you want to wear lighter layers of clothes but don’t want to freeze to death since technically it’s still like 30 degrees out XD. If we can’t change the weather, why not change our perception about the weather? And that’s why I have been loving pastel knits recently. The light colors really just brighten up my day while keeping me cozy.
I especially LOVEEEE this pastel outfit that I wore to work the other day! The fit of this sweater from Stine Goya is perfect for my petite pear shape body type. The puffy sleeves or wide sleeves help to make my upper body look fuller, therefore more proportional to my bottom. And the sleeves are the perfect length for my arms as well. You have no idea how many times I love a knit but then I try it on, the sleeves are way to long compare to my short arms haha. Of course, the pink and cream pattern on the sweater is just so unique, and the color made me really really happy :) I was definitely in a good mood that day lol!
To style this into more of a “spring” look, I am carrying my pink Staud bag that I love (you can take out pink pouch too to make it a clear bag! So versatile, I love!) and my Mejuri pearl hoop earrings that I have been wearing nonstop every single day! I honestly love this fun, cute look that instantly brightens up my day!
I honestly can’t wait for spring (not the allergies though)! Just to think you only need a light layer and you can head out the door sounds so amazing. But until then, these pastel knits will do :)
