Stylish & Feminine Way to Wear Mens Clothings
If you ever stepped into a thrift store (& I encourage you to), you would find racks and racks of men's clothing. From XL Hawaiian button downs to khakis, you might just pass them and walk straight to the women's section. But little did you know that within those XL button downs, there were so many good statement pieces that are worth to explore!
I've always loved checking out men's clothes especially when I am thrifting. It's the best way to get coolest clothes in such affordable prices! With men's clothes, my favorites are usually short sleeves button down shirts. Also when it comes to sizes, I feel like the bigger, the more oversized, the better!
I got this white & red pinstripe shirt, along with many other shirts, from one of my friends' family friend who was about to donate all the clothes...and my friend and I kinda just raided his closet before the donation XD. I actually got too many shirts that I was thinking about doing some DIYs to see if I can create different styles out of them!
But regardless, this is one of many ways I style men's button down shirts - double knot the shirt around my waist and then style it with a pair of high waist jeans (Madewell on sale Here!). I LOVEEE the collar of this shirt, the shape of it is just so unique and looks somewaht vintage. I also like the shirt to be as loose as possible and just to button few buttons to create that carefree vibe with a pink bandeau underneath. Of course I need some heels to lift my height up a bit so I decided to wear this surprisingly comfortable mules from Charles & Keith!
I am absolutely obsessed with this look! This shirt is actually super big haha, if you couldn't tell. I could wear it as a shirt dress as well. And that's the reason why I love men's clothes so much (although I rarely buy them new in the stores), you can create so soo many looks with just one clothing piece!
