Hair Care Products You Need for Strong & Healthy Hair!
Today’s blog post is actually something I am so excited to share! And that is my favorite hair care products! It was not until recently that I started to take care (like really take care lol) of my hair and start to actually have a “hair care routine”. To give you guys some background, I have very thick hair, and because of constant coloring it has become dry, dull, and easily tangled no matter how much I brush it (before if you see the back of my hair closely there would usually be knots all over). I also had problems with dandruff and oiliness of my hair even when I JUST washed it the morning of. I hated it….until I started using these products!
Ouai Scalp & Body Scrub ($38 full size): I have always thought my dandruff problem can be solved using dandruff targeted shampoo but it’s actually not the case! After consulted with my hairdresser, he recommended me to use scalp scrub to exfoliate once/twice a week because my “dandruff problem” might just be dry scalp causing flakes. And guess what, he’s correct! After I started using this scrub I no longer have “dandruff problem” and my scalp feels so moisturized/nourished! I used this before washing my hair with shampoo/conditioner. It also feels so great to give yourself a nice little massage and the scent is LOVELY. It’s honestly one of the best multitask scrubs ever!
Alterna My Hair My Canvas Shampoo/Conditioner ($28 each full size): This set was originally gifted to me to try. Honestly, I wasn’t having that much of a thought when I first try it out but wow - it leaves my hair so smooth and glossy! It doesn’t dry my hair out which I LOVE!!!! My hair literally feels so soft but strong when I run my fingers through after showering. The smell is also very pleasant. Once I used it, I immediately change this to be my go to shampoo/conditioner for daily use! I also use this along with my silicone scalp massage brush to further nourish my hair!
R+Co Television Perfect Hair Masque ($42 full size): I have tried a lot of hair masks before this one and I used to think hair masks is just a scam that hair care companies come up with because none of the ones I tried wowed me…until R+CO comes into my life <3. Use this once/twice a week for 5 minutes deep conditioning and your hair (even the ends!) will instantly transform to feel soft and silky! Also I have noticed I have less fly aways whenever I use this and now I barely can find any split-ends! It’s a bit on the pricey end but a little of the product goes a long way. It really is the perfect hair masque!
R+CO Park Ave Blow Out Balm ($29 full size) : Can you tell R+Co is my new favorite hair care brand? haha! But in all seriousness if there’s one product you want to try out of this post, it’s this one!!! This Blow Out Balm is AMAZING!!! I can’t contain my excitement as I am writing this lol! I use this with my damp hair whenever I feel like I need some styling. It help my blow dry my hair faster/easier and it adds so much volume and fullness to my hair. I even use this sometimes without and let my hair air dry and it makes my colored hair look so much healthier and adds finishing shine without looking greasy. The texture is thick but left my finished hair super voluminous and bouncy!
Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer ($12 full size): Another great product for styling (and also more affordable) that I love to use! This product reminds me of It’s a 10 miracle leave in product but better. It’s lightweight, infused with argan oil and sunflower seed oil to give your hair its daily dose of vitamins and nutrients. I usually use this whenever I am running out of time in styling or just want more of casual-beachy-wave-vibe kinda look! It leaves my hair smooth and calms frizz and fly-aways! And it’s so easy to use - just spray and you are good to go! Definitely another must have in your haircare product collection.
Neon & Co Frizz Fighter: Last but not least, the frizz fighter! I find myself use this more often lately cause of the summer heat! But my fiance Jeremy actually uses it way more than me because of his long curly hair (and now it’s even longer because all the barber shops are closed around us!). It’s lightweight, non-greasy and it’s a NEED for the summer. In addition to the leave-in conditioner he uses, this frizz fighter does wonder to his hair and mine! It really helps to make his hair not as puffy at the end of the day and also helps his perfectly conditioned curl hair last longer.
These are honestly all the products I have been using RELIGIOUSLY and really have been doing wonder to my hair! What are your favorite hair products? Share with me please!
Love,
Tiff
