My Summer Everyday Makeup Routine!
Summer is always so so hot in Philadelphia that I always like to wear light, natural makeup for everyday look. So if I ever sweat too much, my makeup won't physically look like it's melting! After many different looks I try on daily basis, I finally feel like I perfected my everday makeup routine for this summer. These are all the products I used on the daily basis now!
Watch my summer everyday makeup routine, I linked all the makeup products that I use below as well :) Although I filmed this in SF while I was traveling, my routine didn't change (maybe use more travel size products instead).
Step 1: After washing my face, I primed my face with MAC Prep Prime Fix Finishing Mist, this is a multi-purpose mist you can use to hydrate your skin, prime, or even set your makeup!
Step 2: I usually start with foundation first. I like to mix Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation SPF15 and Marc Jacob Beauty Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter together and apply it evenly on my face. The mix of water foundation and highlighter will give your skin the dewy effect! Also remember, just a little bit of foundation goes a long way!
Step 3: For brows, I use two products: Glossier Boy Brow (Brown) & Colourpop Precision Brow Pencil (Bangin' Brunette). I like to use the brow gel first to put my brow hair in place, and then use the brow pencil to fill in any gaps. This technique will make your brows more in tact and natural.
Step 4: I love applying eyeshadows for my everyday look! My usual go to colors are orange tone or coral shades. I think they are the best colors for the summer and also help brightening up my eye makeup! I have received this Pacifica Tomboy Vibe Palette (Collaboration with Ipsy) in my Ipsy Glam Bag subscription last month and have been using this ever since! I love how compact the packaging is and the shades are all very pigmented! I usually use burnt orange shade on the outer edge of my eyelid into the crease, and then use the lighter coral color from the center of my lid to the inner corner of my eyes. Lastly, I always use some shimmery shade to highlight the center of my eyelid!
Step 5: Once the eyeshadows are completed, I use a black liquid liner to line my eyes. I love EM Cosmetics Felt Tip Illustrative Eyeliner! It goes on really smoothly and you can always use it to draw that perfect winged tip!
Step 6: I love using Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara on my lashes! This mascara makes your lashes look super long even when you don't have lash extensions in place!
Step 7: After my eye makeup, I would conceal my under eye or any redness/pimples on my face with Glossier Stretch Concealer (Medium).
Step 8: I use Fenty Beauty Match Stix Trio (Medium 200) to contour/highlight and just blend it with a beauty blender. For blushes (my faveeee part!), I like to use Peripera Airy Ink Velvet because it blends with my skin tone very well.
Step 9: To lock my makeup in, I use Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder to make sure my makeup last all day.
Step 10: I love natural looking lips for the summer, I have been using Glossier Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick (JAM). I usually use my fingers to apply my lipstick so it looks more natural.
