Emerald Green Smokey Eye Makeup

This year I have decided to wear more beauty related posts, not just which products to try or product review, but more step by step how to posts! I thought to myself, I take so many selfies anyway haha, might as well share how I achieve the looks! And they are all super easy! If you want more in detail beauty tutorials, you can visit my YouTube channel HERE, where I upload many makeup how tos :)

Anyway let’s get back to makeup look, shall we? If you can’t tell that the colors of my earrings are the inspirations for this eye makeup haha! I have been loving emerald green recently and I figure why not do a smokey eye makeup look. It took me total of 25 minutes to complete this look, from start to finish:

  1. FACE: I mixed PIXI Rose Caviar Essence & IT Cosmetics’ Your Skin But Better CC Cream to apply on my face with a damped beauty sponge. The essence mix with the creamy CC Cream creates a dewy, flawless effect on my skin. I also used the Glossier Stretch Concealer to conceal and brighten my under eyes.

  2. BROWS: I first used Glossier Boy Brow in brown to shape my brows a bit and make them stay in tact. It’s one of my absolute favorite product that I think you really don’t need anything else after this step, but since it’s a full glam, I applied Anastasia Brow Wiz in the shade Chocolate to make my brows more defined.

  3. EYES: For the smokey eyes, I used Anastasia Subculture Eye Shadow Palette three green eyeshadows (mix of “DESTINED”, '‘UNTAMED”, & “AXIS”) and just used my index finger to first pack it on to my eyelids - starting from the center of my upper eyelid, and then used a blending brush to blend out the green, into the outer and inner corners of my eyes. Continue this step and keep blending to the top of your crease (if you don’t have a crease like I am, you can feel it with your fingers by gently pressing your eyelid and feeling where your eyeballs end - i always make that my “crease” haha)

  4. EYES 2: Once you are done blending your upper eye shadows, use a smaller brush and the same three colors to blend out your lower lash lines. This is actually a CRUCIAL step since if you don’t do it, your eye makeup will look incomplete! Then pop some gold shimmers/highlights on the inner corner of your eyes - I used Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife with my fingers again to just pop that color in! And viola! your eyes are complete (with mascara of course! and eyeliners)

  5. LIPS: For lips, I used Atomic Makeup Silky Matte Lipstick in the shade Lexington, which is a charming warm leafy brown color and topped it off with some CHANEL ROUGE COCO GLOSS in the shade 724!

I absolutely love this edgy glam look! The brown lipstick definitely completes this metallic, grungy, green smokey eyes. Let me know if you guys decide to recreate! I love to see them!!!

Until Next Time Loves!
